Tulipa and Gustavo Ruiz show their support for the #FreeLula campaign in NYC

This Thursday, August 1st, the Brazilian musician Tulipa Ruiz performed with her brother, the musician Gustavo Ruiz, in a beautiful and intimate concert at the Lincon Center Festival in association with Brasil Summerfest in New York City.

The singer-songwriter showed her support for the #FreeLula Campaign, greeting members of the Free Lula Committee USA in the audience. Singer and performer Fellipe Catto was also supportive and invited the activists to bring their message to his own concert on Joe’s Pub, today, August 6 in the East Village.

The audience also applauded when small banners and signs were presented to Tulipa, and she signaled back while performing her last song amongst the audience.
